Support options

Support is tailored — not something you have to choose upfront

Every student’s situation is different.

Some students need help with subject understanding.
Others struggle more with exam pressure, confidence, or applying what they know under timed conditions.

That’s why we don’t ask families to choose support upfront.

We start by understanding the situation properly first.

Instead, support is recommended after a clarity & next steps conversation, once we understand what’s really going on.

The types of support we offer

Depending on the student’s needs, support may include one or more of the following:

1:1 Subject Tutoring

Personalised tutoring focused on:

  • building subject understanding

  • addressing specific gaps

  • improving exam technique within the subject

This is suitable when results are affected by content gaps or misunderstandings.

Exam & Revision Strategy

Support that focuses on how students approach exams and revision, including:

  • structuring revision effectively

  • managing time in exams

  • approaching questions calmly and methodically

This is helpful when students know the content but struggle to apply it in exams.

Confidence & Performance Support

Support designed to help students perform more consistently under pressure, by:

  • rebuilding confidence in exam settings

  • reducing panic, rushing, or freezing

  • developing calm, repeatable exam behaviours

This is often important for capable students - not because they aren't trying, but because pressure is getting in the way.

Academic Planning & UCAS Support

Guidance around key academic milestones, including:

  • GCSE and A-Level planning

  • subject choices and workload balance

  • UCAS applications and personal statements

Educo London is a registered UCAS centre, and support is tailored to each student’s goals and circumstances.

How support is decided

Families don’t need to work out the “right option” on their own.

Support is recommended after a clarity & next steps conversation, based on:

  1. how the student is coping with pressure

  2. what exam results are actually showing

  3. where confidence or understanding may be affecting performance

Sometimes support involves tutoring alone.
Sometimes it’s a combination.
Sometimes it’s reassurance and clearer direction.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

The aim is always clarity, not overwhelm.

Where to start

If you’re unsure what kind of support would be most helpful, the best place to begin is with clarity.

A clarity & next steps conversation allows us to understand the situation properly before recommending any support.
